And the first stamp in the card is the American Clock, (a reissue of 2003)

This definitive stamp—a reissue of the 2003 stamp—features an artistic rendering of the dial, or face, of a banjo clock. Constructed of brass and steel, the banjo clock depicted on the stamp has a painted iron dial and a mahogany case crowned by a brass eagle. This elegant timepiece was made circa 1805 by Simon Willard (1753-1848) of Roxbury, Massachusetts. American Clock is the second stamp in the new American Design series.

My first cover arrived from the Netherlands

Yeah !… I was waiting for it during a week and finally it arrived today!… a card from the Netherlands from my friend Erik (you see the good thing of advise your friends about your hobby). Here it is:

Cover from the Netherlands

Danku Erik !

The bad thing is they guy of the post office put another thing over the stamp, but I could rescue it with hot water, now I have the stamp all visible and you can even see the mark on the stamp with the name of the city. Here I show a picture of some of the stamps of this serie:

Stamps issued with the new prices on January of 2007, each stamp has a dutch symbol on it. The one I got is the blue one with the skate that in dutch is called "Klapschaats"... I learned a new word cause when I saw this first I tought it was the name of the guy who designed the stamp.

Inside there was also a stamp of the Queen Beatrice with the value of 39 cents, so this ones is before they changed the rates of internal mail to 44 cents.
